I activated Google Pay via the ICS Business app, but I can't pay. What do I have to do?

Make sure that you have set up Google Pay as your default payment app. You can easily do this in your smartphone's settings. This is how it works:

• Go to 'Settings', 'Connected devices' and 'Connection preferences'
• Select 'NFC' and then 'Contactless payments' or 'Apps & notifications'
• Select 'Google Pay' as your 'Default payment app' and confirm your choice

You now have set up Google Pay as your default payment app.

What is the maximum amount I can pay with Google Pay?

Can I pay with Google Pay if I have no internet?

You can pay in shops without an internet connection. You do need the internet for online purchases.

Do I need my physical credit card to pay with Google Pay?

No, you do not need your physical credit card for contactless payments with Google Pay. Your Android smartphone or smartwatch is your credit card.

It is not possible to make contactless withdrawals at some ATMs. In this case, you do need your physical credit card. You also need your physical credit card whenever it is not possible to pay contactless.

Can I also withdraw money from an ATM with Google Pay?

Yes, you can withdraw money with Google Pay:

• With an Android smartphone or smartwatch
• If the ATM accepts contactless payments
• If you enter your physical credit card's PIN (not your smartphone or smartwatch's access code)
